GEOMETRY HOMEWORK FOR WEDNESDAY 23






This activity has to be presented on pieces of cardboards, and the calculations must be included. Read the instructions carefully:

Use the paper models above to make each of these prisms.
  • Rectangular Prism
  • Triangular Prism
  • Pentagonal Prism.
  • Cube (optional)
  1. Describe the prism (faces, edges, vertices, parallel faces, etc)
  2. Find the perimeter of its base.
  3. Find the area of each face and then, the total area.
  4. Find the volume of the prism.
  5. Find a picture of a real life object of each prism and paste it on the cardboard (if possible).

Do not forget to use ruler to measure each of the sides (use decimals), and to write the units of lenght (cm), of area (cm2) and volume (cm3)
